About us: Tim Hart, Founder & Principal

Seasoned marketing professional, entrepreneur and trainer Tim Hart has developed and executed marketing and PR programmes for global brands, charities and small firms alike for more than 20 years.

An American expat who’s lived in Dublin, Ireland and now Yorkshire, UK, Tim has developed and executed campaigns for some of the world's most recognized brands and industry leaders, including McDonald's, Levi Strauss, Constellation Wines, the American Cancer Society, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Whole Foods Market, AAA, SGI and Sybase. 

His small-business clients over the years have included law firms, marketing agencies, artists, musicians, food startups, manufacturers and HR and management consultants, as well as alternative-energy and construction firms.


As a trainer, Tim has conducted marketing and PR workshops for government agencies, universities, chambers of commerce and private firms. Audiences say Tim’s interactive, informative and friendly style, combined with no-nonsense advice and real-world examples give audiences a new outlook on their businesses, as well as the new marketing fundamentals through which to confidently grow successful businesses.

Tim started his marketing career in San Francisco, California working for 15 years for a variety of global and boutique PR firms and charities. In 2005 he launched Hart Communications, and in 2009 he relocated to Ireland and later to the UK, from where Tim  continued to serve clients in a wide variety of sectors in the US, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

In 2015 Tim launched GrĂ¡ Group, a social enterprise to focus on the marketing needs of small business. He recently was appointed Associate Lecturer in the PR programme at the London School of Communication.
