Assignment:

Help a growing marketing communications agency develop the infrastructure it needed to launch PR campaigns and build its profile with potential and existing clients.

 

Challenge:

Eccolo, like many agencies, had put most of its effort into serving clients and hadn’t had time for much self-promotion. They needed to start from scratch and build both a strategy and tools required to raise their profile as an industry leader.

 

Tactics:

Hart Communications developed a comprehensive, multichannel marketing plan that addressed the agency’s key business priorities. Additionally, we developed the tools the agency needed to promote itself and manage its own PR assets and campaigns, including updated company messaging, Web content and media materials and custom media target lists, as well as a month-by-month PR action calendar. We later helped promote the company’s newest publication, Brand Content Today, an executive-audience monthly marketing trends report, and secured media interviews and speaking opportunities to promote CEO Lorie Loe as an expert in B2B communications and content marketing.

 

Results:

Eccolo used the new methods & tools to garner media coverage and new-business queries and its proprietary research was later cited by industry experts and relevant trade media. We also secured Lorie Loe a speaking slot at the International Association of Business Communicators global conference in New York (June 2013).
